To many schools focus on inquiry rather than learning.
We creating learning experiences to enhance good learning .

Identify skill, develop rubric to see where students operate at for the above choosen skills. Students marked on the frequency with which the are performing at the various levels.


A good place to start is to identify skills and attitudes that transcend the compentencies

Student developed rubrics start in the middle and work either side.

When writing rubric avoid variable statement terms (frequency words) ie sometimes, always never. You can use these terms to analyze the students progress against the rubric

Task driven learning is a powerful medium because it provides clear context within which learners can do the above.

Start with teacher driven tasks then translate to student driven learning with teacher scaffolding -independent learning can lead to shallow learning.
